Hotel Indigo Williamsburg - Brooklyn, an IHG Hotel

Got the room on the Hotel Tonight App one day In advance. Wish I waited as the room was half-price a few hours later. I did get a King Suite though. Loved the space. The fridge didn't keep anything cooler than Luke warm and the air filter definitely needs changing. But otherwise, the room was comfortable, with lots of light and space. Being able to cash from my phone was great also. Room service menu was reasonably priced. The snack bar at the front desk needs better options. They don't have robes which is uncommon for a $300+ a night hotel stay. Complimentary basic bottled water would have been appreciated at that price also. Bed was comfortable and the full length mirror plus a clothes steamer was definitely appreciated. 👌🏽

My sister-in-law stayed here recently, and her perfume was stolen from the room. She reported it, but they did nothing about it. The only people who had access to the room (as far as we know) were the cleaners. I live close by and would’ve recommended this hotel to visitors but it’s disappointing to have to put perfume in the safe while out for the day. I do not recommend staying here.

Pros: - great location, right off the L and G, near good coffee, bookstores, bars, restaurants - rooms are very quiet - modern decor - nice bar inside, although I didn’t get anything - parking is very easy, but pricey. I parked my 4 door jeep wrangler, it was $47 overnight. You pull up, and the attendant parks it for you. It’s the type of lot that has cars raised over each other, so not an easy or quick in-and-out kind of situation. I believe if you have a standard sized vehicle it would be a little less. The garage is nice, it’s monitored, and as you can see in the pic - right off the entrance. Have cash for tips. - staff is professional and nice Cons: - expensive. You’re paying for location but that is really it. - pets allowed (only 1, but they made an exception for me by letting me pay two fees) but it’s $100 fee and is not refundable. This is a steep fee IMO, and being non refundable seems crazy to make it that high.

I decorated this hotel for a client, then later booked this hotel for my birthday photoshoot. Check in was fast and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable! The only thing that I regret is not staying longer. I woke up early to clean up the decorations so I didn’t have time to get more content. I will definitely be back.
